Getting my period??

I am now terrified that my period is coming. I know people are going to say that it isn't possible on progesterone but I know it is (it happened IVF#1). People are going to say that the symptoms and pregancy are the same as getting your period (I have endo so I don't buy into that). This is the exact day in my first failed IVF cycle that I had my period symptoms and by day 6 (after the transfer) I had my full flow period. I know I have to be hopeful and ignore the dry mouth, sore back, explosive diarrhea, inability to funtction and get out of bed but it is difficult to ignore what happened last time. Especially because it is the exact same day that I felt the exact same symptoms as my previous IVF cycle.
I will do my best to keep my chin up and to move forward with "positive" thoughts. Please god let this just be a coincidence!

  1. Hang in there, it's too early to read into any of this stuff. Thinking of you!!!

  2. I have found that I can not ever read into signs and symptoms. With all 3 cycles they have all been different and all been negative. Not trying to put a downer on you as its way too early for you to tell yet, but on my 3rd cycle I even had morning sickness and it was a negative. I have also got my period every time and so it is possible on progesterone!
Sadly I have come to admit that it is down to luck and everything we do (within reason) will not change the outcome. Stressing and trying to analyse only makes us feel worse! I really do hope it works, please do not give up yet!

  3. I'm not sure what your symptoms mean, but I am hoping and praying that they just mean the little embies are implanting and snuggling in for the long haul!

  4. I think we freak ourselves out and analyze too much. Try your best to just take each symptom as it comes and not read into everything. I know it's hard, but it's not helping you.

Stay calm and think happy things for those embies.

  5. I'm sorry! We know our bodies but I've heard time after time that girls thought for sure their period was coming and it turned out to be preg symptoms... so on that note, keep your chin up! You're still PUPO for at least a few days, and while your hope is waning I will keep the faith for you!
