My dirty little secret!

We use a Jolly Jumper......judge away.....lol. The boys love it and I like to see them happy.  Plus if it delays their walking then that is a bonus (I am kidding of course).  Excuse my cold, I sound like a 70 year old smoker and wish I knew how to take the volume off the video.

  1. Video isn't there for me?? Maybe just my computer?

Is a Jolly Jumper bad?!? I didn't even know that! :/ Oops. Alidia LOVES hers so much and will jump for an hour a day with a huge smile on her face. That smile makes it worth it!

    1. I can't figure out how to post it properly (I am useless). Apparently Jolly Jumpers teach babies to shift their weight on their toes which can delay walking. I think we all spent time in Jolly Jumpers and we can all walk. What is the hurry anyways! The same people frown on excersaucers and anything else your baby can stand in.

    2. My son used an exersaucer and a jumper and was walking at 10 months. My friend wouldn't use an exersaucer because she claimed they cause kids to become bowlegged (insert eye-roll here). My doctor said that for negative effects to happen your kid would have to be in them all day long. My son loved his exercauser and jumper and it enabled him to play and get upright and it bought me some time to get stuff done. There will always be something that mothers will debate and judge eachother about. Annoying!

  3. I've seen a lot of parents use a Jolly Jumper. Hey if it keeps the kid happy than it can't be all that bad, right?

  4. We have 2 jolly jumpers... lol the one with the stand for the main level, and the door frame one for upstairs... It will be a sad day when MV can't use it anymore. He jumps like a maniac, and is in it probably a total of 1-2 hours a day (not all at once lol) when he's not in it he bounces his legs to let us know he wants in ;)
I agree with you, we used them, we can walk fine.

    1. Seriously, I challenges these professionals to make an hourly schedule for twins that doesn't include excersaucers and jolly jumpers. By the way why are we in such a hurry for them to learn everything. Let them enjoy themselves.

  5. Hmm... This is always my go to gift for baby showers. All my nieces and nephews got them, used them, and can walk just fine! I have six nieces and nephews by the way.

Thanks for all the comments on my recent posts. Your comments helped get me through a rough patch....
